Before joining the Dubai School of Government in 2006, Ghaleb Darabya worked for four years as the Counselor for Political and Congressional Affairs at the Palestinian Mission to the USA, in Washington, DC. He also served for four years as Assistant to the Palestinian Foreign Minister, and was the Founding Director of the Diplomatic Training Department at the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Darabya has lectured at the Jerusalem Open University and worked in the news room at the Middle East Broadcasting Center in London.

Mr. Darabya received a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He also holds a Master of Arts in Diplomatic Studies from the Diplomatic Academy of London, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Essex University in the UK. Ghaleb Darabya has appeared extensively on many US and international news channels as an analyst on the Arab-Israeli conflict. He has written articles and book reviews for publications including the Washington Post and the International Third World Studies Journal and Review.
