Empowering Leaders. Shaping the Future.

Program Features

Several key features distinguish the Executive Diploma in Public Administration from more traditional academic programs. These features make learning at the Dubai – Singapore Program innovative and challenging.

Case Method
Cases are first-hand accounts of actual situations used in teaching to recreate and dramatize the challenges that confront the public official or manager. This style of teaching requires the student to learn by doing, to realize that decision making under actual conditions is not an exact science, and to understand that actions could lead to outcomes not entirely predictable through theory. The result is a deep learning experience that goes beyond the mastery of knowledge and skills. The cases taught in the program will be relevant to the experiences of both Dubai and Singapore, and will reflect the challenges in a local environment and the needs of the local executives.

Speaker Series
Discussions and seminars form an integral part of learning in the program. They provide opportunities for the free exchange of ideas on the important issues of the day. This will help executives to gain insights into the policymaking processes, organizational development and world affairs. The speakers include executives and scholars, senior public officials and senior representatives of non-governmental organizations, as well as leading businesses.
